Government Bonds

What are government bonds?
These are debt securities issued by the government through the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
By issuing these securities, the government commits to making payments on them at a predetermined date with a defined yield.
In simple terms: Government bonds are a way to lend money to the government and receive a guaranteed return in exchange.
When purchasing government bonds, their yield is locked in until maturity.
Who should invest in government bonds?
Bonds are a versatile instrument designed to meet a wide range of financial objectives:
Ideal for those who prioritize security over high-risk returns. Government bonds carry a 100% sovereign guarantee, making them the most reliable investment instrument available in Ukraine
Unlike bank deposits — where profits are subject to personal income tax and military levy — income from government bonds stays entirely in your pocket
A perfect entry point for those new to investing. No need to monitor market charts daily or analyze complex corporate reports. You simply purchase a bond and know the exact maturity date and your return in advance
You can purchase foreign currency government bonds denominated in USD or EUR. This allows you to protect your savings against hryvnia devaluation and earn a higher yield than typical FX bank deposits
Legal entities can use government bonds as an effective alternative to short-term deposits, putting idle company funds to work until they are required for operations
Active portfolio management and the liquidity of these instruments create opportunities to profit from changes in their market value
